Just visited a thread on the above forum which makes FWR look mealy-mouthed on the subject of TRAs.
So why aren't the TRAs targeting DL as they have done to Mumsnet? Well I wonder why. How dare women, and mothers in particular, defy them!

Have they got the link to the consultation on datalounge?

or can you link so we can paste it? or would we have to register?

It's been posted before but deleted. There's an unfathomable moderation process there whereby some things are left standing and others deleted. Mediapolis the company behind the site has connections to GLAAD.

The opinions on there vary widely from both sides of the argument. It's also a totally anonymous site that you don't have to sign up to. I'm not sure but I think posting privileges are based on consecutive site visits tracked by cookies.

The demographic is mostly US and it is also used by women, some lesbian but not all, so when reading GC posts/threads you can't assume they all come from gay men.

It also attracts a lot of trolls due to the anonymity, especially anything political in nature.

I've posted the odd news article there for awareness raising from time to time but I mostly just read because a bit like FWR they don't always appreciate opposite sex interlopers sticking their oar in every 5 mins.
