In today's Metro and on Twitter. Maybe we should all start doing this? Although I'm on the wrong side of 40 so never happens to me nowadays which I'm very happy about aGrin

Your age isn't a total protection, failingatlife. The last obscene suggestion made to me on pubic transport was when I was 55 or so.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 12/10/2018 11:16

I'm in my 60s and still get that crap. It's not about youthful female-fuckability but shock-value. If you're not horrified and embarrassed there's no point in doing it

pennydrew · 12/10/2018 11:56

Yeah I’m in my 40’s and it still happens. Last guy got an absolute earful from me.

UpstartCrow · 12/10/2018 11:59

Update;
''Since publication of this article, British Transport Police have confirmed that no action is being taken against the man pictured, who strongly denied any wrongdoing and states that he merely fell asleep.''

Is this the same British Transport Police that was investigating factual penis stickers and vowing to catch the vile perpetrators?

Thanks for nada BTP.

Of course the man would be automatically believed over the womanAngry

A couple of months ago, on a very crowded train in central London, during our very hot summer, I had an incident - not sexual I think, just intimidation. A fleshy, sweaty, large man started leaning on me. Not just being crowded together but leaning completely on me with most of his weight despite me trying to push him away and elbow him off. I think he wanted the space where I was standing. I had to squirm away but leave my bag behind. I went back to get my bag before I got off and worked up the courage to call him out. I told him he was disgusting, no one else on the train was behaving that way. I swore a bit. And everyone stared at me like I was mad in the way people do on trains. I was shaking after. I’m in my late 30s and I still found it hard to confront the d*head.

Some men on public transport are vile. I feel so angry for that poor woman.
