I've wondered for a long time why so many salons charge women more for the same haircut as men. I have short hair and quite happy to, similar to lots of men my age. No arguments stand up to scrutiny.
Women have longer hair. Some do yes, but not all. Some men have long as well.
Womens hair takes more effort. Why, unless all women have long hair and demanding careful shampoo, wash, highlighting, trim etc.
Women fuss more about their hair. Again, only SOME. Not me and lots of women.
Sometimes I just go into barbers where they don't differentiate. Some ask quite pointedly if thats the haircut I want, I just say yes and get on with it.
