Interestingly Stavvers asks for money (I looked at their Twitter profile as I was curious as to who they were). A PayPal account. No description of who they are, or what they would use it for. Just "You can also leave me a little tip"

I know, the idea that FPFW might have legitimately fundraised by putting in some actual hard graft, is totally alien to these people!

Things trans activists seem to get upset about:

• women defending their identities
• women speaking
• women meeting with each other
• women attending public establishments such as bars
• women educating themselves
• women researching the facts
• women having their own spaces
• women insisting that words have actual definitions
• women spending their money as they like
• women publishing considered opinions in the media
• women participating in the democratic process by encouraging the public to respond to a government consultation

(Honestly, it sometimes feels like certain individuals want some kind of women-controlling system....)

Up until now the media climate has been positively fawning. How are they going to cope if it actually turns hostile?

I suggest these airheads look into the actual history of women's refuges and rape crisis centres. They will find that they were set up by women, for other women, often in their own spare rooms and front rooms, using scraped together funds and (female) volunteer labour.

And now women are scraping together funds to support human rights again (cos we are in fact human) whilst at the same time continuing to run refuges and support rape crisis centres.

This spurred me on to do the consultation this morning - I used the FPFW guidance and added in my own thoughts too.

I am quite pleased that I managed to entirely legitimately get the words 'naked breasts' and 'nipples' in there, while talking about the occupational requirements of providing a service to women.

If that gives any civil servant a raised eyebrow, hopefully this will make them think about the realities of this agenda.

Well that little read has made me go and make another donation to FPFW. As I suspect have so many other women.

I am really quite offended that women are apparently not able to, fundraise for more than one thing at a time, and hold down a job, and raise children, and do most of the grunt work at home, and also look after aging parents and etc etc.
But I am more offended that men think they can dictate to us where our money should go.
If I earn my money, I can damn well choose where it goes. If that's to fpfw AND my local food bank (that just gives out food, no vouchers or hoop jumping) then that's my choice.
Arggggh

AIBU to think that every tweet by a TRA whining makes the ad worth its money, and if they ever learned to just quietly ignore then the advertising wouldn't be nearly so effective? Or perhaps just shhhhh and let them fuck things up for themselves haha.
