An academic network to challenge accepted narratives

Academics. Please have a look at this twitter thread from Kathleen Stock:

  1. You hear lots about the unpleasant side of publicly criticising trans activists/ideology (not people). I'd also like to say - particularly to academics biting tongues - that I feel infinitely better for speaking up. It really is a huge relief. I'd never go back.

  2. If any other academic wants to enter the fray, I have experience on how to deal with it, which I'm happy to share. There's no need to hang back or hide. You're an academic, you have expertise, your job is to question. Universities must support your academic freedom.

  3. There's a growing community of us, and we can help each other. We're currently establishing an academic network of philosophers, sociologists, criminologists, lawyers, historians, English scholars, medics, & political theorists (etc) to challenge & disrupt accepted narratives.
