Never one to knowingly miss a passing bandwagon our Boris. Never mind though. Needed saying.

Im not a Boris fan, but he upped the funding for Rape Crisis in London when he was Mayor.

While on the topic of the DT it also has an article on Nicci Take becoming one of the Financial Time' HERoes. The same list of course as Pip Bunce but did not attract as much attention at the time.

I can't find it on the online edition unfortunately but it quotes Miranda Yardley saying it is an "absolute travesty".

"Nicci is what we would have called a transvestite 10 years ago and yet now we consider it progressive to decide somebody who dresses as a woman actually is a woman, and include them on a list celebrating women."

The DT tried to get the Financial Times to comment but "they did not respond".

No wokeness with the DT thank goodness.

Oh and nice one again Miranda!

Boris lied to his wife.

Boris stole time, emotional and financial resources from his wife.

Boris put his wife's sexual health at risk.

Boris is right-wing.

Right-wing view their women as their property.

Boris doesn't take care of his perceived property.

Boris is no friend to women.

Anything Boris ‘did’ for Rape Crisis in London was due to the pressure placed on him by feminist activists at the time...

Boris is a nasty piece of work who'll back any cause or jump on any bandwagon as long as it furthers his career. Not to be trusted.

pennydrew · 08/10/2018 11:08

Boris thinks women go to university to find husbands.

I don’t like Boris.

Boris loves a spot of blatant opportunism. He's clearly thinking "ooh, how can I court the female vote, or at least that bit of it too dim to see that this is lipservice in pursuit of blatant opportunism?"

I have a Torygraph sub (part of my "know what the other side are thinking" campaign), and have actually come to love the paper - it's a romping good read (much less po-faced than the others), and carries articles by Julie Bindel and Joan Smith quite regularly. It also carries some shocking victim-blaming shite, and a range of views from relatively sane to swivel eyed loon.

But it also seems currently to be functioning as the propaganda wing of the "Bozza for PM" faction in the Tory party - he frequently gets to pen his own front-page puff-pieces, which is a bit bizarre as an editorial choice for what aspires to be a serious newspaper.
