I can't believe that I agree with Trevor Kavanagh, but he's right on this. Would be great to believe that this shows the tide has turned, it's a comment piece. We can only hope.

I don't recall ever having read an article in the Sun before. It's quite reasonably balanced (I like the emphasis that adults are different from children in this regard), but was struck by how simple the language is.

Articles in The Sun are usually great examples of writing in Plain English.

I like the simply language. It speaks to the average person. Many people are blissfully unaware of the self id issue. We need more of this. People aren't objecting because they don't know about it.

I am in Scotland & worry that it will happen here first. The authorities here seem to have drank gallons of the koolaid. Anyone know what's happening with the Scottish consultation?

It's really simple and clear. No technical terms like TERF, cis and I think that use of "equalities champion" rather than gender critical feminist is a major positive. (The word feminist gets a lot of people's backs up)
