Trans activism and anarchism

Excellent article on trans activism and anarchism.

Worth understanding the link as they're a significant force in British youth politics.

The anarchist transactivists wholeheartedly embrace "punch a TERF".

They're often the ones in black masks trying to stop feminists meeting.

Jess Bradley is an anarchist transactivist and I'm pretty sure Tara Wolf is too.

Sorry, that should have said

I don't think they're a significant force in politics in general!

My mind still boggles at Action for Trans Health being invited to Parliament and being allowed to influence policy making, though. They're an anarchist group who believe in getting rid of our health service (as they say everyone should be able to self medicate) and getting rid of prisons.

The hard left want to use the Tory totalitarianism over trans ideology to use the public rage over this and Brexit.

The answer is for the conservatives to quit pushing lies on the public, cut the £ to TRAs and reprimand public servants pushing lies.

I meant to come and post this article.

I love its plain speaking and bluntness. Also...

Transgender ideology has no intention of overthrowing the system. The most high profile proponents such as Paris Lees, Caitlyn Jenner and Munroe Bergdorf, are models, pundits and celebrities. not politicians. They want to be part of the establishment, because there’s big bucks in it for them. They are selling snake oil. This is not a rebel culture, but part of a long tradition of repackaging rebellion for consumption by the gullible.

... made me smile and nod along.

Madigan tweeted that they are neo liberal, whilst wearing Momentum merchandise, I assumed they don't understand the term.

I now realise everything in the ideology is upside down and inside out.

Grin The joke is on Jeremy, who threw away Labour exec officers, members, activists and voters for a Tory plant. Grin

Hahahahaha

I've often thought the same re LM

ShackUp · 08/10/2018 11:26

I used to go out with an anarchist (20 years ago...) who is now all over Twitter talking about 'having' people in a fight (including - sigh - 't*rfs').

He is uniformly horrible to everyone, but especially women ask his millions of ex girlfriends. It's a shame that he's teaching his daughters that they don't have a voice.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrgh! All I can think when I read this is that some people have had far too much time on their hands to create all of these PoMo theories and shit. (not the article, but the need to write the article to explain such bollocks)

I think it is partly why I would not support a universal wage. It would only allow some people to sit around thinking and not doing any of the useful and necessary things that make life actually work and be worthwhile.

It's fantastic.. these idiot factions act to bring about anarchy and totalitarianism, and probably war, almost simultaneously, but I know which groups would definitely not survive any sort of post apocalyptic world. Not marketers, not bloggers, not the realtiy show is my real life twerps, not the TRAs who don't know how biology works, and not the poor kids who don't know where milk comes from.

I sound 104 years old!

lenaperkins · 08/10/2018 14:00

Just posted it on FB ... nobody will like or comment but they might just damn well read it.

It does rather grind my gears to see such people described as the positive-sounding and "Anti-fascists" rather than the perhaps more accurate Communists, Anarchists, Nihilists etc.

Whole lot of people out there who, like the phone-kicker, are seeking a socially accepted outlet for their inner rage, hence their keenness to denounce so many people as Fascists, Terfs etc and thus puncheable by the Righteous.

newtlover · 08/10/2018 14:16

brilliant article

ChilliJamandAvocado · 08/10/2018 14:55

One thing that irks me about anarchism, is that anarchists are very scathing of "lifestylism"... ie those who dress edgy and adopt an edgy persona as part of their anarchist persona, without analysing in depth the structural dimensions of power relations... the superficial stuff like clothing style, squatting, skip diving etc that do little to challenge extant systems of power.

Yet they embrace (trans)genderism, which seems the very epitome of lifestylism... that it's your clothes, your choices, your demeanour that defines your sex category, rather than fundamental biology that determines where you are positioned in human power structures. Individualism vs material classes.

FekkoTheLawyer · 08/10/2018 15:02

Anarchists are always full of sh**e. They are generally better off students who want to play at being rebels. Whose kid was it again who swung off the Cenotaph flag? That's the type.

An Anarchist + 20 years is a home counties cottage dweller with 2.6 kids, sensible job, a volvo and a Labrador.
