Yes really good article, thank you Trevor Kavanagh. This whole business has well and truly brought me down from my high Guardian reading horse.

My world is rocked - how is it that I am agreeing with the Sun commentary and am repelled and infuriated by the bloody Guardian that we have got for years?

Exactly. The only way the article could have been improved was if it exhorted everyone to fill in the government consultation on the GRA and ended with a direct link to the FPFW guidance booklet fairplayforwomen.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/FPFW-printable-guide-1.pdf

Its the sign of a very intelligent person who can get across complex ideas in a simple way to a non sophisticated audience

^ this, it takes real skill & intelligence to be able to do it. It was definitely the best introduction to the issue that I’ve read.

hello out there

We do live in strange times.

Today's the day I stopped lurking, wrote to me mp and even filled in some consultation thingy.

We're living in a world where the so called quality papers refuse to report news - and so we're left with the tabloid papers telling the story.

HandsOffMyRights · 08/10/2018 23:20

Another excellent piece, following Hope's article in The Sun last week.

I don't care which publication it's in (I'm actually embarrassed by The Guardian and BBC/Independent) as long as it's out.

I remember an old journalism tutor praising some of the tabloids for their writing - and this is a great piece.

More, please!

Wasn't it "In the thick of it" that did a press conference and really intelligent thoughtful questions from "the sun" and the "Hare and Hounds" and the "what is your favourite colour" from the Telegraph/Guardian. Made me think of that.
