Look, if we don’t want our rights to be erased, we have to overcome our female socialisation to be nice, appeasing, kind, empathetic, understanding etc. We’ve all read, with increasing horror what’s happening, men competing in women’s sports, taking our places on all women shortlists, the definition of ‘women’ as an adult female considered transphobic and removed, and and and....

NO ONE is standing up for us, women, half of the population! There’s no judicial review, no MP, no celebrity, no newspaper, no one, it’s just us and our numbers and our truth. Please, all of you, do whatever you can in your own sphere of influence and control to talk about this. I really don’t want to sound melodramatic about this but we are on the cusp of losing so many rights that women have fought for for years. Don’t let this transgender ( MRA) agenda be the hill we die on!

The TRAs have been organising for years and they’ve been very successful, they’ve caught us on the back foot and it may already be too late. Whatever you can do in your real life please do it. We’re not transphobic or bigots, we just want to preserve the hard won rights we already have and need...

There is one MP with the courage to speak out, the Tories' David Davies of Monmouth. But, he's a lone voice.
In Wales, Plaid Cymru AM Helen Mary Jones has also spoken out. I suspect her new party leader doesn't agree with her on the matter though.

Yes it was the magnificent JaneClareJones who said that and it gave me the chills. I'm feeling increasingly angry , even 'unhinged' about this on a daily basis and so fucking powerless! ALL we have are our numbers. I wrote on another thread, I feel like I just want to go out and spray paint, in really large letters, Women don't have penises, Women: Adult human female. This isn't 'transphobic', it's just reality. Why can't people see this? People who have power and influence? Female MPs, who are supposed to be representing US?

6 months ago I was suspended from Twitter for saying Aimee Challenor was a man. Next day I was hacked by somebody ( don't know who but I'm pretty sure I know). So many women have been kicked off Twitter for just speaking the truth. The truth that men who feel like women are not actually women. They never were and never will be. And even if they identify as a woman, they don't identify WITH women, in fact they seem to hate us...

You know like in America, they had a million women march? I wish we could have something like that here, all of us, out on the streets, being visible, getting our message across. Someone wrote on another thread that because so much activism has gone online, when there's real life activism, because it's so rare, it gets a lot of press coverage, And that's been true with this. 2 women go to a swimming pool in South London, identifying as men, massive press coverage. Stickers, saying Women don't have penises? Ditto. A poster saying Women: Adult Human Female? Huge. We just need more of this!

What have I done? Well I've written to my MP, months ago, I emailed the Daily Mail ( a publication that I hate but the BBC and Guardian won't discuss this) about the Swim England guidelines thread about it, my comments were in the article, Ive tweeted pp who have a voice about what's happening, to no avail, I've attended meetings, I've retweeted articles on Twitter and copied them on here to inform pp on here. I'm not an influential person. I've spoke to pp I know in real life, I've signed the online petition to Stonewall, I've completed the GRA petition, not sure what else I can do...?
