Stonewall funding

Saw this on Twitter. Why is Stonewall being funded by the Foreign Office? Given their refusal to listen or discuss concerns, people might want to have a look at their funding.

They get a hefty sum from the Department for Education as well. Which is strange because they don't seem to be very educated themselves about biology, safeguarding or child development.

Additionally, so much money from Scottish and Welsh governments which seems disproportionate, given their anti-woman stance.

Surely DfE can't find something so partisan and campaigning. Imagine if they funded other campaigns such as Anti hunting / abortion / etc.

Oh yes, that's the single biggest amount in 2017!

£120,000 from the Welsh government ? I am not at all happy about that.

Why do they get this money ?

Maybe if this current petition doesn't have the desired impact the next one should be to the Government calling on them to stop funding Stonewall

Someone on Twitter posted that their "swanky new offices" have pushed their lease costs from £30k to £3m and that they are spending more than their income.

Isn't Ruth paid about 100k of that total?

I was just having a look at Stonewall's website and the first page which pops up is just all trans related. I think the charities commission should investigate them for being misleading as LGB don't appear to be of importance anymore.

On the plus side if what LangCleg says is true they're hopefully going to go under soon.
