I just checked my news apps about the reporting of this story. Interestingly, BBC says "women" should have been urged to check their test's lot numbers whereas Sky News app says "people" should check their test's lot numbers.
I was prompted to do this because Martine Croxall on BBC News, reading breaking news, said "people" and then corrected by saying "women, presumably". I just like to keep abreast of how different organisations present their information.
Not withstanding that some men might buy tests for women in their lives.
