Visualising the "strands"

Trying to visualise this whole thing in a simple graphical form.

Came up with this as a first stab and posting for critique, feedback, improvements - I'm not precious about it! (Or even whether it can be satisfactorily represented graphically at all?)

Great diagram! The only note I have is to maybe do something where instead of separating out women/transwomen/transsexuals like such, you could do women versus trans, and then put in some further subcategories under the trans branch to highlight the broadness of the umbrella, including transsexuals, transwomen without gender dysphoria, cross-dressers, non-binary people and gender-fluid people?

Do you mean have women at the top (as it is) with trans women replacing the men section entirely, with all the umbrella bits? Or adding to the men bit with the umbrella categories?

I was trying to keep women distinct from men and "expand the bandwidth" of each sex, to show there can be different strands in each sex, but ultimately biology remains the one constant.

I saw a comment today that I found very clear:

A woman is someone with a female body and any personality, not a “female personality” and any body. Can’t people see how sexist and homophobic the latter is?

That's ace! Maybe that should be the image then Grin A roundup of female bodies and the tagline, alongside the male equivalent!

That's exactly what I thought you were doing, and illustrating it well.
Sorry, I can't really draw out what I meant.
Let me to try do it like this

DNA,etc - description of all types of woman --- 1) woman 2) trans person and then 2) trans person--- trans man, transsexual man, non-binary, gender fluid

But keep it exactly as you've done to point out these individuals are all of the female sex biologically?

Just my own stray thought, but it might be too confusing.

Oh no it was. I just mean use actual pictures of female bodies (something akin to the Dove women lineup as a SandyDrawsBadly type cartoon rather than words?).

Hmm, I shall ponder on a v2.
