Bounty Reps - article and petition

I see that mumsnet had a campaign about Bounty a few years ago. The fight continues:

I supported the first campaign, outraged that nothing's changed! And that bloody article, basically 'well most women love being bothered by sales reps when they're naked, in pain and at their most vulnerable, it's just a few stroppy ones'.

(Where else do we constantly hear something similar?)

I have never given birth, so had no idea this went on. WTF?!

I can't imagine anywhere else within the NHS, this would be allowed.

Funeral plans sold on the geriatric ward?

It's outrageous that women at their most vulnerable are viewed as fair game.

I was off my tits on morphine when I got the hard sell after a CS -how the fuck is that reasonable in any way shape or form?

You always get a few women saying oh mine was nice but that doesn't outweigh the ones who come in through closed curtains, approach women with very sick babies or ones that have died, women who are exhausted, emotional, bleeding, drugged etc. It's totally out of order.
Can this go on any other part of the site it would get a lot of support. I'm not sure of the rules about petitions.

I was gobsmacked when a bounty lady pushed her way into my cubicle when I was still hooked up to a catheter, with a bed covered in blood and started asking to take photos of me and baby. My own family hadn't met the baby yet but she wanted instant access.

I told her to leave and told the midwife not to let her back in to see me again.

With dd2 in MLU, the rep came in, explained who she was, gave me the pack ans took me details. I didnt want photos and when she returned I said that the baby was still asleep and I was not going to disturb her! She said fine and moved on.

Dd1, two reps came in on the ward. I said I didn't want to. They pushed the "this is how you get the child benefit form nonsense" I gave in as I was exhausted. I said I didn't want photos. They came back for photos later and opened up the curtains I was tring to change dd1, blood dripping out of the canula from the infusion, me in tears. The closed the curtains again.

It's all so intrusive. And it is not the only place you can get the child benefit forms from.

I also remember supporting this a few years back. Doesn't seem much has changed.

Without fail, whenever I see this mentioned, I always think of the chocolate bar and think WTF?!
