Last night some lunatic on Twitter doxed Posie Parker, exposing photos of her family, her children, her home address and lots more personal information.

Thankfully quick reporting from Twitter users got it taken down

Let’s hope the police are onto this.

Harrop tweeted an IP address a little while ago, saying they were the ones doxxing and encouraging others to expose them. Deleted too quickly for me to get a screenshot but wtf is he playing at.

Is anyone else slightly worried this is a "false flag" operation? I really hope this isn't an attempt to somehow pin this on Mumsnet..

Of course this is what it is...they are doing their utmost to get this for closed and this is one way...make it look as if a mumsnetter has doxxed people.

Luckily our good women know how to do advanced search.

Remember enforced teaming...where they try to make it look as if they are part of the gang before throwing you under the tracks of the oncoming train?

IIRC, the stuff about Posie was apparently on a separate website that you had to click a link from their Twitter feed to get to.

Whoever they were, their comments got deleted, even though they didn't break guidelines. And they also got banned.

Which indicates, to me, a previously banned poster.

I've had a couple of posts deleted in the past four weeks but, shrugs, it was probably earned.

I'm angry, but I do try to veer away from nasty.

Someone suggested they take a dim view if they think an account is set up solely for the purpose of campaigning about being gender critical.

I‘ve been suspended recently for suggesting TERF is the acronym for ‚die in a fire....‘ and they should rather spell it out, their Tweet had enough space left for it.

I came onto MN at about 9.30, saw this thread, found that account still live on Twitter, reported it on twitter and reported this thread asking for the last two pages to be removed (the ones with the deleted posts but still visible username which led me to the Twitter account).

I have checked again and MN emailed me to say they weren't sure what I wanted to do as the Twitter account was now deleted and that they wouldn't use the delete button heavy handedly, which is fine by me.

All in all, I'm a bit confused. Is it time for a drink yet?

I had 2 TRAs banned from Twitter this week - reported them for hate speech. Was quite proud.

It's not too long though till my secret account gets shut down too probably.

I'm shocked to see that account is still up. I reported it yesterday off both my twitter accounts, and also reported individual tweets. I have just reported it again. At one point the account was suspended but it seems to be back in action. WTF?

I reported it, received a response today saying that it was in breach of Twitter rules, but it's still up. I've reported again.

Also, someone on Twitter says not to click through to the blog as it's harvesting IP addresses for doxxing purposes.

The website is hosted in Iceland. Their hosts boasts that they don't take illegal content down.

They also take payment by anonymous terror money (aka bitcoin), so whoever is behind it is potentially untraceable by the police.
