Girl Guiding Scotland and "body confidence"

On their Facebook page, GG Scotland say that they're "teaming up with the Festival of Politics to talk all things body confidence at our Body Perfect session, taking place at the The Scottish Parliament on Saturday 13 October from 3.15-16:45.

We've got 10 tickets to give away for free to Guide or Ranger units. For your chance to win, share what body confidence means to you in the comments below."

I have no involvement in Girl Guiding at all, but thought this might be an opportunity for MNers who're also involved in Guiding to share their views on this with GG and even maybe win a place at the Body Perfect session!

Being able to undress, and for my daughter to be able to undress in a room where we are surrounded by other women and girls. Sharing biology and the problems of periods and other issues means we can feel confident we are not alone.

No penises in the changing room is an absolute must for body confidence.
