Thanks for publicising this. SE's equality and safeguarding policies are missing "sex" as a protected characteristic. I've asked them to amend it but no response yet.

I hadn’t seen this before. FFS, girls and women’s participation in sport drops off early - including blokes isn’t likely to help.

Why did we not see this before? Another organisation trying to go under the radar.

On the trying to be positive side -should there not be a greater focus on non competitive sports eg rock climbing, canoeing, hiking, skating etc This would probably appeal to a wider range of people. There is no human right to be on a football team.

I've completed it but it was hard not to write "What are you even on about? Have you never seen or played sport? Have you never met men and women? FFS!"

This is just absurd.

There's another thread about this but it has been suggested that we contact any of our parenting friends who may volunteer on football teams etc and possibly circulate it around WhatsApp groups
