What would be the first question you would ask?

I think mine would be "if trans women feel unsafe in men's spaces, for fear of being attacked by men, why are you attacking women?"

Mine would be 'why aren't you doing any real activism such as speaking out against male violence, or funding shelters or rape crisis?''

Male violence is the biggest threat to trans women, women and children. Why are you attacking women rather than working together to eradicate male violence?

MarklesMerkin · 30/09/2018 13:54

How are you so sure that you 'feel' like a woman? I am a woman and I don't know what it 'feels' like to be one, I just am one. It makes no sense to me.

Something that gnaws away at me.

If transwomen want access to female spaces and one of the reasons is personal safety.

If men of ill-intent will be empowered to enter women's spaces and has the legal get-out of claiming that Self-ID doesn't allow anyone to challenge him...How is this going to make transwomen any safer. If they can be pursued into (say) a washroom or a refuge from DV?

Why aren't you widening the bandwidth of being male?

tobee · 30/09/2018 14:08

I think we know why it's #nodebate. Because if they actually answered it would be #everythingfallstotheground.

Everywhere you turn, you see the male socialisation:- gloves up, ready for a fight.

"Why don't you want to debate?"

Are you familiar with the Duluth wheel?
