Shocking levels of misogyny

Because I don’t spend my life on social media or twitter I am absolutely astounded at the shocking levels of misogyny, especially on twitter when I drop in to follow various threads and discussions. Women are frequently attacked and verbally abused because they are women. Can you give any concrete example of misogyny that affect you, online or in real-life?

Yes I can.

But why?

Twitter is a cesspit of hate and abuse of women.

I am being tongue in cheek regarding the title of the thread, not that this it is a TAAT.

Yep. It's the sea that we swim in, it's the air that we breathe.
