Reform of the Gender Recognition Act 2004 – Self ID
We have corresponded previously on this topic, and you have already indicated that you do not support the proposed changes. However, I wanted to particularly flag some very timely issues relating to this topic, and would be very grateful if you would formally communicate these concerns in the strongest terms to your colleague, Penny Mordaunt MP, as the formal government consultation is ending next month (www.gov.uk/government/consultations/reform-of-the-gender-recognition-act-2004). I have included links and information on each point for your convenience.
BILLBOARD: “Woman: ADULT HUMAN FEMALE”:
Recently, a crowdfunded billboard was installed in Liverpool. This billboard simply contained the universally accepted, dictionary definition of woman: “adult human female”. Due to pressure from aggressive agenda-driven trans rights activists (led by one particular activist who apparently moonlights as a qualified medical Doctor no less!) claiming that this factual, biological definition of a word is both “hate speech” and “transphobic”, the billboard owner has now removed it. This is sheer lunacy and cannot be allowed to continue. The term “woman” cannot be erased like this. (I have also attached a photo of the billboard to my email for your reference.)
GIRL GUIDING – NOW EXCLUDES GIRLS IN FAVOUR OF BOYS:
Secondly, the Girl Guiding UK (GGUK) movement now allow born male children to join the organisation if they “feel” like a girl – although it is impossible to define what that is, unless one believes that, for example, wearing frilly pink dresses is the sum total of girlhood. Not only that, GGUK will also now actively remove any girls who don’t confirm to that ridiculous stereotype of “girl” (i.e. dress and presentation).
And even more concerning is the fact that parents and guardians will not be informed that there are boys in what they believe to be a girls-only group. This includes everyday meetings where they may be girls who are unable to attend mixed sex activities for personal, religious or cultural reasons. However it also includes also residential camps. To be clear, parents are actively excluded from knowing that there will be teenage boys and girls sleeping, bathing and changing together. This completely contravenes all Safeguarding principles and as a parent, I know will you immediately be aware of the potential consequences of this.
They have done all this without consulting the members or their parents, and in fact have recently expelled two long standing pack leaders for publicising and questioning their actions.

The Girl Guides are a single-sex (as per Equality Act exemptions) movement so as they are now actively accepting boys and rejecting girls, they are in breach of their claim to be single-sex and the Equality and Human Rights Commission has requested they change their designation to mixed-sex. They have yet to address this and instead put out a bland statement ignoring all the specif concerns raised.

KAREN WHITE - CONVICTED RAPIST PLACED IN WOMEN'S PRISON:
Lastly, the horrific case of Karen White, a trans identifying, intact male, paedophile rapist who was convicted and put in a women’s jail, where he – quite predictably – went on to sexually assault 4 more women who were locked up with no means of escape from him (blogs.spectator.co.uk/2018/09/the-state-has-failed-karen-whites-victims/).
Research by @Scottish_Women showed there were 21 sexual assaults in women’s prisons in 2017, which incredibly means that this one, known and convicted rapist was responsible for a full 20% of them (twitter.com/Scottish_Women/status/1038735274392662016).

Amidst all this, Gender specialists are raising serious concerns about the explosion in young women seeking help with gender issues, calling it a “social contagion”. The stats are:

Aimee Challenor eventually resigned, citing the Green party as “transphobic” for suspending them during an investigation of the above.

- Schools are being taught biased and activist-led propaganda which includes keeping any trans identification a secret from parents and guardians; telling any female students that object to male bodies in their sex-segregated changing, toileting and showering facilities that they are transphobic and should find alternative facilities. This also causes immense safeguarding issues around how young girls learn to identify and speak out about anything inappropriate if all bodies are “female”

- Activist groups are frantically urging girls to bind their breasts and start taking extremely powerful off-label prostate cancer drugs (oftentimes advising them to go online to purchase them without parental knowledge or medical guidance). The effects of these drugs have not been researched and can cause permanent physical damage. All the while lying to these children that its safe and reversible - in essence using them as props to their own agendas.

The position is this: Women have a legal right to sex-segregated spaces for reasons of privacy, dignity, safety, cultural and religious significance, and simply personal preference. This is a long established, well-known and accepted fact in society (and one that is being actively established in developing societies, refugee camps and other similar environments for the same reasons). No group has any right to override a woman refusing access to males entering those spaces, just because those males fancied “feeling like a woman” that day. Self-id will be catastrophic for every woman and the Government simply cannot remove our majority rights to appease this vocal and aggressive minority. Decent men everywhere accept this. It is in fact the ones we are most worried about who are shouting the loudest to change things.
As a constituent of yours, I request that you make representations to the strongest effect that the GRA must not be amended and that self-ID will be devastating consequences for 51% of people in this country, all to pander to a few aggressive activists (not to mention the piggybacking rapists, voyeurs and abusers rubbing their hands in glee at the potential “sweetie shop” that is about to open for business). Please stand up for women,
