“So, let’s get concrete. It’s time for the sane to do a bit of calling out themselves, namely, about the Government’s proposed, preposterous revisions to the Gender Recognition Act which would allow anyone to identify as a member of the opposite sex and have that definition legally enforced without so much as a doctor’s certificate. So, birth certificates and passports could be falsified; men would potentially have access to women’s prisons (that’s already had predictable consequences) and refuges and the Government would be complicit in the fraud. I’ve heard a Cabinet minister, by no means a lefty, express support for the move. Well, the Government’s consulting; let them know what you think.”

It’s fantastic to see more and more journalists like Melanie McDonagh in this case, covering this issue.

Excellent.

Tremendous, isn’t it?
The more people this lunacy reaches, the better.

The government, large companies and all major political parties are throwing out the accept definition of woman and as a result putting the lives, safety and dignity of women at grave risk.

It's so ridiculous and so very obviously worrying that it got this far. . Every day there's a report on the BBC or in the Guardian about sexual abuse or sexual harassment or paedophilia and they are simply unable to make the obvious mental step to understanding that it's people with a penis who do bad things to women and children. The Guardian in particular: patting itself on the back for being so supportive of women. Pfft!

Brilliant article. There were many comments on Twitter yesterday about Posie Parker v that Dr twat on Sky news who were utterly incredulous that the dictionary definition of ‘woman’ was now considered problematic and hate speech. So glad more ordinary pp are finally waking up to this!

Once more and more people outside of the debate realise what is happening there will be mass outcry.
