ideas, please
they have finally arrived and I am impressed by the quality and presentation
I don't have a ready made group of gender critical feminists to work with, sadly.
today I
went to the loos in M&S, thinking I'd just leave a couple in there- there was a massive queue!- eventually I kicked myself up the arse and said to the woman in front-
I'm leaving these leaflets here- did you know the government wants to change the law so any man who wants can say he's a woman and then come into women's toilets?
she said
no
and looked ahead as if I wasn't there Shock
I handed one to a neighbour, very quickly
left 1 in the launderette (I can go and leave another if it gets taken)
gave 1 to a friend
and had 1 long chat with a friend who might actually fill in the consulation.
ideas please for spreading the word- I'm off to bed now, look forward to being inspired in the morning

I leave them everywhere I go. Small steps

finnmcool · 26/09/2018 07:24

I've been putting them up at bus stops, I left a few in my local library, gave some to the checkout women in my local supermarkets, shopping centre toilets oh and people who I say hello to in passing.

Gyms, swimming pools, religious centres (all kinds) clothes shop changing rooms (blue tack to mirror) reverse of toilet cubicle doors (everywhere).

happydappy2 · 26/09/2018 10:02

Fix to the back of loo doors so when women sit down to pee they see them-also fix to mirrors in wash rooms/changing rooms. I gave one to the chap who came to clean my oven yesterday-we got chatting as his daughter has done a gender studies course at Uni (now working in forensics) & his nephew is trans....thinking of starting puberty blockers-we had a really interesting chat, no animosity & he agreed there is nothing good about self ID or pushing this crap onto young children.

I do this lots and travel frequently so get plenty of opportunities. Also its better than putting where you may be cctvd as I believe you can be prosecuted for littering. I may be wrong.

finnmcool · 26/09/2018 12:49

Also, I've spoken to my local women's centre, they are happy for me to leave leaflets there.

arranfan · 26/09/2018 13:18

Do you go to any exercise classes with changing rooms/waiting areas/changing cubicles where things can be taped up?

IAmSproutycus · 26/09/2018 15:16

Obviously I’m not involved in all this nasty littering business, but I’ve seen one put in every cubicle of changing rooms in all the main department stores and mother and baby spaces in my nearest city.

newtlover · 26/09/2018 19:33

hmm, blue tac, that's a good idea
