How odd.

Very. I posted before the meeting that the location had been leaked, went on twitter , came back after a few mins and it had vanished.

Isn't announcing that the location has been leaked a massive hint for TRAs to immediately go hunting for it and possibly cause even more danger to attendees?

How do I get involved with these events? I live near Liverpool and I could have gone tonight! Do I need to join a group?

It was all over tra twitter Shotsfired. I didn’t reveal the location OR the leaker. I was replying to someone worried about going alone and I was warning them to be safe.

I will keep an eye in here then as I do not have social media. I have never joined a group like this before, but I feel so strongly that I have to take a stand against self ID

You can see twitter without joining - use private browsing, google WPUK twitter ( or anyone else) and there you go, you can’t interact but you can see it. How do you think all of us blocked by certain TRAs keep tabs on them😉

On Friday (28th) there's both a WPUK event in Leeds and a We Need To Talk event in Manchester.

Have just got home from it - it was brilliant, felt like a 1980s feminist meeting. There were even a few nods to Mumsnet!

Thank you, that was helpful, I now understand the terms.

That was my first feminist meeting of any kind - it was very emotional and wonderful to be surrounded by so many logical and reasonable amazing women. Would have loved to have stayed for the pub conversations but feeling too tired, too pregnant and too in need of chicken nuggets.

Lovely lovely night! Really interesting and valuable contributions from all speakers and the floor. So exciting to put names to faces as well.
