Hi again, I'm looking for a particular image to show my pal and hoped one of the keepers of the info here might be able to help! A little while ago, an image from a training pack was going around, of masculine traits (prefers leading) and feminine traits (prefers taking part) for kids to choose their gender from. It was from the training some dude in the south of England provides to schools. I saw it loads of places and now I can't find it to show my pal. Anyone here who can help, please? (I tried asking last night, but I forgot to say please in my haste to peak my pal, so thought I'd try again ;) k

Was it something from Allsorts?

You might also want to see if you can find that "gender spectrum" that showed a variety of genders ranging from skinny pink lady to bulkier brown or black man. figures on toilet door style. It was rather eyebrow raising even by TRA standards.

I actually don't think it was. I think the name was something more like BiteX or something not that! ;) It was a small charity. Someone said that no one else in that area provides training so they were picking up the council contracts. It's some dude with no experience that set it up. Called David or Stephen or Keith or one of those really late 20thc male names. Thanks for trying anyway! Maybe it is all sorts, but I can't find the stuff on the site :(

Was it the BISH UK stuff? R0wan will know...

arranfan · 25/09/2018 09:18

BISH?

ScreamingBird · 25/09/2018 09:18

Wow, yes quite AAK. I got stuck with a load of Genderbread men... um... people. Which is silly nonsense but it's not so immediately clear from the image what the captions mean.

Floral and Arran, you guys... um... individuals are the best! That's the one!

"I love you gender non-specific persons" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, does it?

arranfan · 25/09/2018 09:23

I love you gender non-specific persons

Similarly, Good Morning Everyone as the TfL greeting or for announcements on the train aren’t quite as soothing. Is this is unannounced/unavoidable end of, "Women and children first" in emergency situations?

"Is this is unannounced/unavoidable end of, "Women and children first" in emergency situations?"

Most of the world remains sane, and knows that women and children need special protections.

But I read (here, probably) that men are over represented in disaster survival, cos they get themselves to the front of the queue. So when it comes to the crunch, I guess every, um, individual is out for him... um... itself.

"women and children first' is an honourable concept. Recent footage of disasters like the Costa Concordia show clearly that it means nothing and that some men push women and children over and even trample on them to escape. Aggressive men first, then women and children, then the decent men.
