As someone on Twitter put it "they've gone full Tumbler".

... Affirmative care is best, watchful waiting is "outdated", pushing puberty blockers, threat of suicide...they note that kids with ASD are increasingly presenting as T and just shrug.

They will definitely find themselves on the wrong side of history, but in the meantime it's pretty depressing. That is what comes of treating "gender" as some kind of separate field of medicine rather than seeing people as whole people.

Yes they will, but in the meantime i guess this (although it is from a US org) will also be picked up and pushed as influential guidance by people in the UK.
