Where did all those amazing caricatures come from?

On twitter I remember seeing a series of fantastic line and ink drawings of feminists, including some more modern gender critical feminists alongside quotes of statements they have made.

I LOVE them. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of them and/or if they are available as prints?

I aspire to get my own one day lol

Do you mean the Resisters artwork? You can follow them on twitter @ResistersUK and they’re also on Facebook. I’m not sure they’re offering them as prints but wouldn’t a book be great? Perfect for the loo Grin

I actually got out of bed and bounced round the room when they contacted me to ask if they could paint me. It totally made my week!

They are gorgeous, aren't they?

They are so beautiful, and simple. I think part of their beauty isn't just in the words but with the sense of continuity within the feminist movement, the feeling that the old famous founding sisters were just women like us speaking up for what they believe in. It really really works.

I've just retweeted a few of my faves but going to keep reading!

Oh actually I may be getting a bit confused with the suffragette posters by @renee_jg

Still they are amazing!
