Help! I know there is a thread with a 101 on the issues but I can't remember what it is called. She was shocked by rapists in prision so I think we'll have a new gc in time but I want to introduce it gently.

Can anyone point to thread or any other first look subjects? Thanks

Sport is usually useful as it's very clear what the issues are there.

The girl guide policy of not informing parents if their daughter might share washing and sleeping facilities with a trans girl (teenage male body) is worth a look

It might be helpful to explain that a transwomen is a male that wants to 'be' a woman, and what that implies. Many people think it's the other way around, and therefore cannot understand what the fuss is about women who don't fit conventional feminine stereotypes being in women's spaces or activities.

Once that has been understood, explain that 80% of TWs retain their penises and male levels of testosterone. Again, many people think that everyone who transitions has full surgery and hormonal treatment in order to become as similar as possible to their target sex.
