Student Humanists don't like Debate on Trans Issues

The President Elect of Humanist Students tweeted gender critical comments along with retweeting an article from the Spectator. He then got forced out. There's now a petition to try and ensure that UK humanists can discuss trans issues freely. It really is 1984 time if the Humanists are shutting down debate, isn't it?

In my experience, most humanists do have good critical thinking skills, so I'm interested to see how this pans out.
