Hi all,
I occasionally get mentioned on Mumsnet as I've written things in the past that you've been interested in (the gender debate, pornography, which can be found here medium.com/@tom_farr ). I'm posting about something you may be interested in.
CEASE UK (Centre to End All Sexual Exploitation) is a new organisation focusing on tackling sexual exploitation within the UK, and we're launching with our first annual conference on Wednesday 14th November at Central Hall Westminster, London. We have an amazing speaker line up, including Julie Bindel, Fiona Broadfoot, Sarah Champion MP, Anna Fisher of Nordic Model Now, NotBuyingIt!, Kate Roberts of Human Trafficking Foundation plus many more to be announced.
Topics covered will include the global sex trade and its extensiveness, front line services for at-risk and exiting women, obstacles faced when battling human trafficking and the links between pornography and exploitation (which I will be speaking on) plus many others.
Full speaker lineup (with more TBC) and tickets (price includes lunch) can be found here: www.ceaseuk.org - please consider also following our Twitter and Facebook pages

Accessibility is at the forefront of our minds, so if anybody would like to attend but isn't in the financial position to do so, please email [email protected] and I will endeavour to arrange something for you.
Any Qs I'm happy to answer below, and please also feel free to follow me on Twitter if you want to - www.twitter.com/uracontra_ . Thanks in advance and thanks for your support!
