Gia was one of the very first to stick their head above the parapet when it came to biology and gender. Will always like her and Brian.

She's brilliant. She's been switched on for a long time on this.

Didn't she make some feminism-related tweet once a few years ago (was it GC-related? Can't remember) and some man went to Brian Cox to tell him to rein his wife in... Which went down well with Brian.

Always makes me happy when I notice another woman who is brave enough to put her head above the parapet on Twitter.
