Wanderlust: men masturbating at work?

I haven’t seen the bbc drama Wanderlust. It strikes me, from what I’ve read, as sounding seedy and exploitative.

I was concerned though to see that one of the story lines apparently revolves around a female teacher walking in on a male colleague masturbating at work. She is, apparently, consoled by another colleague kindly having sex with her (because there’s nothing that turns a woman on like seeing a man wanking in the office).

A man who masturbates in the office is (am I old fashioned?) a gross seedy perv who needs to be sacked. But, is Wanderlust appearing to normalise this? Just part of the old up and down of office life, etc? The laughs of working life? I do hope not.

Having read about it I think it's more about s woman on a sex spree.... no stopping her

The bloke in the office (?? Was he? Or is he in the bathroom?) is the least shocking part

Very common, I'm afraid. There are some Youtube videos of men caught in the Act by "prankster" colleagues and CCTV footage taken in office buildings.

One CEO sent out an email saying that he had authorised random checks of internet use in the company. Employees were told to keep their filthy habits to themselves. He resigned when it was discovered that, from early morning to late at night, his user history showed an obsessive interest in the video of a young Britney Spears singing: "Oops, I did it again".

And again, and again, and again .......

Sounds pretty grim (couldn't imagine my male colleagues...Shock) Did remind of this Big Train sketch ...

Happened at my ex's workplace a few years ago. Guy in his office was praised for his diligence and work ethic as he turned up early to work every morning; the only one in his office; hard at it...

They sacked him.
