I agree. But it’s done deliberately to tag along on the general acceptance of gay rights and to create the ability to call anyone who queries it bigoted. LGB are sexual orientations - to then tag on an alphabet soup of paraphilias and lifestyle choices is disturbing to say the least. They are not equivalent

It also creates the possibility of the LGB community getting some of the inevitable backlash.

I think I'm right in saying that, in this country, only the Green Party adds an Alphabet Soup to 'LBGT' in official policies and manifestos.

You don't come across many organisations that have tacked on the extra 'gender identity' letters. That doesn't mean to say that the organisations exclude kinks and fetishes.

Perhaps the question needs to be asked by the likes of grant-making bodies, or those who are commissioning training, from the LBG charities? "Who do you represent? Describe the interests and range of people outside same-sex attraction".

Back to LGB I say. Everything else is irrelevant.

You could quite easily substitute the word "delusion" wherever gender appears in that graphic (which reminds me, Delusions of Gender is still on my to-read pile). Actually I do wonder if we're seeing a new form of the grandiose delusion appearing - there's not a vast step between believing you're a dragon and believing you're Napoleon, is there.

I did actually go out for a while with a man who sincerely believe he was part wolf - not furry, otherkin, although it was before that term really caught on. Many mental comorbidities, and in the end I just couldn't square the noble wolf with the controlling, emotionally blackmailing man.
