Just ordered this. Recommend it to get people talking or quietly leaving in workplaces to encourage discussion.

They're helpfully sending it out for only £2 per order to cover postage.

I've been trying to set up a standing to FPfW. Keeps being rejected because the account number (see below) "is not valid".

Drat! Hopefully someone will check after the weekend.

Ordered two, hurrah! Plus a load of glue dots. Canal St here I come!

theOtherPamAyres · 01/09/2018 19:38

Hi @hullabaloo

Yes, I can pay for the pack by Paypal and donate an one-off sum, but I'm trying to set up a monthly standing order. And my bank won't let me because, it says, the account number isn't valid.

I'll bring it to their attention.

LesbianNotQueer · 01/09/2018 20:21

Ordered 2, time to be brave and share with those I know ConfusedShock

DoctorW · 01/09/2018 20:59

@theotherpamayres
I’ve just checked the page and the account number is correct for the fair play bank account. Not sure what could be wrong.

theOtherPamAyres · 01/09/2018 21:13

Thanks @DoctorW.

It's the ruddy Cooperative online banking app that's the culprit. Thanks for the confirmation.

Stilettosandan0venglove · 01/09/2018 22:27

time to be brave and share with those I know

Same here. These leaflets really are brilliant, and will make having that conversation easy.

Today women all over the country were out on the streets, telling the public about sex self ID, and giving them the leaflets. The response was overwhelmingly positive! Most people don't know, and when they find out, they understand the dangers straight away.

So yes, let's be brave and share with everyone we know Smile

Hullabalooo · 01/09/2018 22:52

Go forth and flyer!

Thanks for this. I've just ordered 2 packs. Time to be brave but I'm not brave enough for stickers.

NotZenEnough · 01/09/2018 23:23

Thank you for this. I've ordered a pack. Brilliant!

Stickerladiesoftheworldunite · 01/09/2018 23:59

Ordered 2 packs. Will share these and hopefully raise awareness.

Sorry Penny, the plan to sneak through the GRA consultation has been foiled.

The public deserve to know. It's deceitful.

Musthavesbackagain · 02/09/2018 00:11

I ordered my pack today too.

Hullabalooo · 02/09/2018 13:04

Posted the OP on my Facebook page. Hahahah what was I thinking! Total war.

Just back from an afternoon handing these out and talking to people who were out shopping.

There were three of us and it was generally a very positive afternoon - no nastiness and some really positive reactions as the penny dropped.

These leaflets make it very easy to get conversations started, although I'm still reeling at the thought that I was discussing the retention of fully functioning penises by transwomen with random strangers. BlushGrin

Hullabalooo · 02/09/2018 17:11

Top work. Great you're getting out there.

I live in a city known for its bohemian residents and I'm very nervous about getting on the streets with these as I will get into fights about it. I can guarantee it.

Those of you who have been out and about, what % of people you spoke to actually knew anything about the GRA reforms, would you say?

NotAnotherFeckingMuftiDay · 02/09/2018 17:22

I would say fewer than 25% of the people I spoke to knew much about it - some others were familiar with the issue from the Times articles.

A lot of people just took leaflets and didn't stop to talk.

I tended not to approach anyone who looked too woke and targetted parents with children and older people. Some lovely elderly feminists took away some leaflets to spread to word - the issue of possibly not being able to receive intimate care from a biological woman was a big issue to them.

Thanks for the reply, NotAnother, and for the sterling work today!
