I don't get it.

She's tying herself in knots over dating a pre-op, pre-hormone trans man?

Who was effectively a woman?

She is a lesbian who dated a woman who now, years down the line identifies as a trans man. She is being told on social media etc. that because her former partner is “now a man” she is therefore no longer a lesbian and is actually bisexual.

That is ridiculous.

She dated what was then a woman.

Homophobia. Preventing same sex orientation being definable.

Sex, not gender. This woman is a lesbian, and - unless they're now attracted to men or TW - so is her erstwhile partner.

It’s the fact that other people see fit to eradicate her sexuality based on how someone she once knew now “identifying” as something different.
It’s a real head fuck. It must feel like being trapped in something very dark to be denied like that.
