Voting in Lab NEC election

DH is a committed labour member but these days well to the right of the party, likes Yvette Cooper, etc and is about to vote in the NEC election.
This is sensitive and of course I wouldn't (and in fact couldn't) tell him how to vote But he had no idea about Heather Peto and positively likes E.Izzard. I seem to recall a thread on here recently about him boasting thst he had clashed with some teenage girls in a ladies toilet and told them he was entitled to use it. Can anyone remember any details? I just wanted to point it out to him.

If you want an example of his style, watch the Youtube Question Time "debate" between him and Nigel Farage about immigration.

Izzard was a great comedian with a unique style, an OK actor and has done lots of marathons.

He lost all contact with reality some time ago and lost my admiration as a result.

Him and his pink beret did a lot of good to the cause of Brexit. Rather like that Boomtown Rats chap.

And Will Self. When I listened to his sneering on the news the day before vote, I was momentarily inclined to vote for Brexit. People like that are why voters wanted to "stick it to the elite".

If I hadn't already peak transed, the photo accompanying the Twitter in which the Labour LGBT group announced that transwomen would be allowed on all-women shortlists would have certainly done it:

Let me get this straight, in 2017, as a very grown man who presumably thinks he understands enough about the world to be of use to a political party, Eddie Izzard looks back at what happened when he entered the female public toilets as a 23 year old man, to get changed out of a dress and makeup. His perspective, even now, is that the 13 year old girls who plucked up the courage to confront him (the MAN in the ladies loo) were the AGGRESSORS? That he was brave to turn back and try to challenge them? They were smoking, Izzard tells us, as if that confirms something about the personalities of these CHILDREN 10 years his junior. I could forgive him, almost, at 23 to have come to that conclusion as a 23 year old brain is not yet mature. But that he has not reflected on the incident since tells me that I would not trust this (privileged, inward looking) man in politics at all.

Also.. Man wonders if he could have relationship with attractive young lesbian.
Is he a) an entitled twerp who needs to lay off the porn a bit or b) truly a woman deep inside

Why can't people see the huge safeguarding issues with views held by people, like Izzard who have influence?
