Seriously. If I called the police every time I felt victimised/marginalised by a DM article, I’d never get anything else done.

How can you possibly feel victimised by an article? How does that even work? I thought the police were supposed to be far too busy to be dealing with trivia.

Seems to me that the mythical 'right not to be offended' now exists - but only for some sections of the community.

I agree. There's a whole bunch of examples at the moment on the Collating Evidence thread. Plus that particularly vile 'toilet wanker', which is so deeply vicious it surely counts as a hate crime. It's a shame 101 is just a phone service rather than an email one.

One more thought on the toilet guy - the one who wanted to force a girl's head into a bowl of dog piss while anally raping her. Apparently this was a joke and hilariously funny. Suppose he'd added just one word - "trans" - in front of the word "girl", would it still have been a good joke?
