This caught my eye because it really goes to the oft-mentioned comment that if anyone can identify as another sex surely the logic of self identification must be followed through to identifying a other animals, ages, Ponies etc etc

For many years now society and institutions have been at pains to be non-judgmental, each to their own, live and let live, consenting adults etc etc. At an institutional level this has facilitated the scandal of child sex grooming rings operating freely and without challenge as it was the girls' freely chosen lifestyle choice wasn't it. I do wonder if we are now reaching the end point of being accepting and non-judgemental. A porn soaked deviant free for all, with, of course, women and children bearing the brunt.

The problem is I'm not sure what the push back will/should look like as the pendulum swings. I don't want to end up with a society somewhere between Victorian England and Gilead.

The deer club looks a lot more innocent than the bear club scene or maybe what I saw on reddit was a joke?

Are people who identify as dogs allowed in shops, restaurants etc or does one only gain (rather than ever lose) rights through self-identification?
