In the car today, he saw a pink motorbike with a male rider.
"ooh, grandad, a motorbike!" He said.
"That's a girl's bike," says grandad.
"No it's not, it's just a bike." Ds replies.
"But it's pink!"
"The car in front is blue and a woman is driving it. It's not a boy's car because of the colour, it's her car because she's driving it!"
I have had a warm glow ever since witnessing this exchange today. My son is 11. This is the future, my friends. One open minded kid at a time. Give them the words and the confidence to see through the lies and see what they will do.
