According to the Associate Editor of Spiked! online magazine, Joanna Williams, we're not at risk, as so many feminists are in positions of power now.

Anyone else wondering if Joanna Williams is a nom de plume for a bloke?

Williams not Harris.

I'm not au fait with all the feminist theory or politics, I'm only paddling in the shallow end here.

So..

Libertarians
Identitarians
TRAs
MRAs

and other women are all anti-feminist.

Anyone else I need to watch out for?

Ladies Against Feminism types, too. Conservative Christians with a penchant for Victoriana and women not voting, or,if they do, asking their husband who to vote for. (Sounds ridiculous? Ask me how I know...Wink)

The point is that the Patriarchy has its hooks very firmly embedded into almost all spheres of society. The fact that so many don't see it until it's pointed out is testament to the influential reach it has.

“asking their husband who to vote for.”

I know a (famous) woman in her thirties who votes Tory because her Dad says “they are nice and went to look after everyone”.
She thinks feminists are “throwing women under the bus”.

Many of these comments are focused on the gender of the writer. I find that to be irrelevant to this article. Although women find connection through experiences of mistreatment, the reality is that not all women have the same opinion on the issue. This is because they're social and personal aspects are different regarding culture, beliefs, and personality. Many important factors were put into place in this piece of writing, such as realizing the public-health differences or the different levels of poverty. Regardless, violence is everywhere but for those who haven't experienced it, they are most likely part of the 93%-97% population that are not feminists. This common ground allows women to work together in pursuit of a shared goal.

IJustHadTo Libertarians are not necessarily explicitly anti-feminist, but they’re highly individualistic in their worldview and reject government as far as they possibly can. Since women need a raft of government measures to ensure we’re not completely subjugated by men and disadvantaged by our biology, libertarian philosophy isn’t really compatible with feminism, IMO.

Just in case posters want to refer to gender identity enthusiasts as identitarians, that term is already taken as referring to far-right and white nationalist movements.
