Tokyo Medical University thought that there were too many women gaining entrance so they fiddled the exam results to ensure that more men would benefit

Women are being raped and forced into marriage in order for their husbands to be granted visas for the UK, despite the Home Office being warned that the marriages are forced

The top headline on most sites is the Bank of England interest rate rise (illustrated by a picture of one of the most powerful men in the world)

Absolutely none of the sports headlines are about women

Horrified by the story about Tokyo Medical University. How fucking awful for those women who lost out because someone decided they weren't worthy.

The forced marriage thing is awful too. So depressing to think that some parents are willing to do that to their children, and even more depressing that some of those men were given spouse visas even after the victims had voiced their opposition.

Shocking.

Yes they basically went against the explicit wishes (expressed at personal cost) of rape and DV victims.

Another said, "Women are told they have to give birth; if they don't, they're mocked as being 'unproductive', but then again, just the possibility that they might give birth is used to cut their scores. What's a woman supposed to do?"

Outrageous discrimination on the basis of SEX. Their sexed bodies are the problem.

Every day is like this. A couple of days ago I went to the Mail Online site and about the first half dozen stories were about women being killed or assaulted. Once you're attuned to it, you just see it all the time.
