Yes, this is what happens when we say anything.

Good on his mum for taking him to the police station though

Not clear if he has been charged

Mobile phones have been a game changer in these sorts of offences. The cowardly piece of shit could hardly deny it when he'd been caught on camera. So often if there are witnesses to an attack someone has a smart phone.

Same with the attack on the woman in Paris. Her attacker was filmed. So many things that happened in my youth would have been prosecuted had there been photographic evidence.

I saw this clip earlier without meaning to, and was properly horrified. The first punch is beyond, but the swift follow up with number two - that is a man without any shame whatsoever.
The Wright Stuff was on in the background this morning and I heard Trisha saying something about his mum insisting there was more to it contextually, but there is no context possible that would make this assault anything other than indefensibly disgusting.

His mum has said it’s no excuse - sounds like she was not at all happy with what he did, hence marching him down the police station.

He’s her carer, according to that report.

AncientLights · 01/08/2018 14:55

He was calling women 'fat c'? Has he checked his mirror recently?

Diglett · 01/08/2018 16:01

Now reporting he never had a girlfriend. Erm. And? We're meant to understand why he punches women? Odious waste of skin that he is.

sociopathsunited · 01/08/2018 16:55

Can I just say - WELL DONE to his Mum. Crap job at raising him to respect women, mind, but hey, at least she drew a line somewhere....

RedNed · 01/08/2018 17:02

His mum says there is footage from inside the club but that it doesn't excuse his behaviour. I read it as though something happened earlier and then he started picking on the girls for it.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour Angry

sociopathsunited · 01/08/2018 17:08

It's a pretty extreme reaction, but there are probably dozens of factors that combined to make the situation and his reaction explosive, alcohol being one of the biggest, I'd guess. I have to admit, being an old fart, that the thought of being anywhere near a town centre when the rabid youth of both sexes are rioting after a night of drinking is as appealing as having root canal work. I don't know how they can afford to drink so much.

Gorrillagirlfanclub · 02/08/2018 09:40

He's never had a girlfriend according to the article. What a surprise!

Disgusting behaviour Angry

Yet men aren't a threat to women and we should let them into sex segregated spaces on their say-so. Yeah, right...

Beamur · 02/08/2018 09:46

Incel in action.

PrettyLovely · 02/08/2018 09:58

I saw this too and was horrified he should be locked up, He hit her so hard both times I couldnt understand how the really tall well built man next to him (he actually looked like a bouncer, no idea if he was )didnt react on the first punch he barely looked, I thought it was awful that he wasnt restrained straight even after the second punch the guy next to him did nothing.
Its lucky he didnt kill her.
He needs locking up for a long time.

PrettyLovely · 02/08/2018 10:00

Restrained straight away**

WaverleyOwl · 02/08/2018 18:53

Another incel thinking we're the enemy and lashing out.
