www.lifesitenews.com/news/lesbian-teens-are-getting-pregnant-more-than-twice-as-often-as-their-peers

I saw this article today and I had to share. It's from an admittedly very conservative publication but still....WTAF!?

You understand that this isn't a news site, right?>

Very odd publication, I question their motives.
Aside from that how can a lesbian accidentally get pregnant? A planned pregnancy, very possible. But this article implies accidental which means either they aren’t lesbians or the paper is lying.

It's called queer sex where Penis in vagina sex is now lesbian sex...

I'm calling fake news. I literally know one lesbian who got pregnant (planned with her wife).

Teenagers who actually talk about their sexuality are far less likely to belong to the sort of frothing conservative religions that publish "News articles" like your first link.

I would like to see a similar study done in a normal, 1st world country, in which little girls are not coerced into either burkhas or accepting 'purity rings' from a male relative.

SimonBridges · 31/07/2018 22:28

And this comes back to the definition of lesbian doesn’t it.
A lesbian is a female homosexual. A homosexual person is someone who has relationships with someone who is the same sex as them. Someone can be bi and then be attracted to both sexes.
Someone having sex with someone with the opposite sexual organs means that you are heterosexual or bi sexual.

However some people seem to be changing the definition of lesbian, and we are now back to words being meaningless.

UpstartCrow · 31/07/2018 22:29

Idk if this is the study they are quoting but its a bit more complicated than they present.
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5224908/

Overall, lesbian teenagers had the lowest risk for pregnancies, and bisexual teenage girls the highest.

And the study is about teen pregnancies, not planned pregnancies among married couples.

Does this mean I have to go on the pill? I’m not a teenager, but I just assumed a woman couldn’t make another woman pregnant. I better ring the doctors in the morning. Bet they’ll love that…
