BBC link

So a young woman walks down the busy street and is being verbally abused. In passing she says "shut up", he doubles back shouts at her and smacks her in the face. Daylight. Public. Yet he walks away.

Unbelievable Angry

He also threw an ashtray at her before he slapped her, and only narrowly missed. I am glad that the people in the cafe remonstrated and stopped him from going back to her, but I don't understand why no one went to check the woman was alright!

I wish men like this could be done for a hate crime aggravated assault.

Fucking hell! Angry I'm also dismayed that the two women chatting turned back and continued their chat leaving that poor woman standing alone after such a vicious blow.
I understand the one woman seemingly checking her but then going to help her male partner confront the attacker, but them-no excuse.

Let’s hope they catch him. It’s physical assault.
