I'd given up on #heforshe, they drank the Cool aid long ago in my opinion.

But, a glimmer of hope, maybe? They've just posted a FB meme describing gender as a social construct.....

My faith that people understand the words they use has been eroded.
When people use the words 'social construct' they seem to mean 'can mean anything I wish and you may not contradict me'.

And when they say 'gender' they may similarly might mean 'biological sex', 'definitely not biological sex' or something they invented on the spot.

Those who care that they are correctly understood take pains to clarify using unambiguous language.
