How often do you call someone out on sexist comments/behaviour at work?

I’m thinking about all the low level stuff that happens every day. Comments like telling a (male) colleague to “Stop crying like a girl”.

A man apologising to the woman in the meeting for swearing.

Never. However, before I got ill, I worked in bars/pubs, both behind the bar and doing entertainment, so I was surrounded by comments such as that, along with being spoken to like a piece of meat, and my boss basically said that its part of the job to put up with it...which I guess it IS in a way. It shouldn't be, but it is. If I got myself worked up with each sexist comment or grope..I would have had to give up working in bars at all, so I guess I learnt to just..ignore it as much as possible. Mind, one guy who groped me went way further than they usually did and I did kick him in the balls, which seemed to stop him treating women like pieces of meat.
