Fantastic chance for young people to learn how other people came out, interesting tales etc... and then a young trans woman talking about being a male who was interested in women ie. heterosexual but actually being a female and still being interested in women ie. homosexual and chatting to females about this as if this was a shared experience??? Huh?! I didn’t know many lesbians when I was growing up and I sure could have done with the internet to show me there were lesbians out there but I would have been so confused if boys I knew suddenly identified as females and then assumed the persona of lesbians and then had the gall to put themselves forward as lesbian ‘champions’ whilst assuming the mantle of shy, ‘please don’t put the spotlight on me’ young students who just want to lead a quiet life (and can you lend me tuppence for a bowl of soup because my Patreon ain’t coming up with the goods) Jeez! I just watched Boy George on WDYTYA and my son (14) actually asked me how Boy George identified and I said he’s a flamboyant, hugely gay, screaming queen of a Man! All male but his sexuality is Gay and I felt so sad that being Boy George is not an option for any gay man anymore 🙁
