Surprised they don't have Ruth Davidson in the politician shortlist. Even if you're not a Tory you have to admit she has reinvigorated the Tories in Scotland and is a high profile lesbian, or is it left wing lesbians and transwomen only?

Justine Greening and Margot James are Conservatives.

Goodness only knows why anyone would place Mhairi Black, Joanna Cherry, Kezia Dugdale and some other SNP woman I'd never heard of ahead of Ruth Davidson. Possibly Ruth would prefer to be politician of the year rather than lesbian politician of the year.
