Is this what I think it is?

Was browsing my news app last night and reading various articles. This one was about myths of contraception. 'Woman' seems to have been bizarrely replaced with 'person with vagina'. Is this some misguided attempt at inclusiveness? Surely it's more to do with ovaries and uterus anyway than vagina?! I just couldn't figure it out.

Is this what I think it is?

There is no point having a new word as it will take decades to normalize it and it will get taken before that happens.

The point is that there is not allowed to be a word to describe the cunty half of the population. To even attempt to do so, is transphobic.

IF there is a real need, eg cancer, then the only language avceptable must be highly specific to the situation ( not suitable or likely to be used at other times/ in general), and dehumanising. It does not matter if lots of the target group don't understand it is them being spoken to, this is a reasonable risk.

I think that covers it.
