Mr Right, Mrs Always Right (somewhat lighthearted)

The above slogan is seen everywhere in gift shops: on mugs, pillows, coasters, T-shirts, etc.

I'm curious. I don't feel strongly about it, but I expect many people do. Is it lighthearted fun? Or is it a feminist issue for subtly objectifying women as harridans?

Remember also the "show them the Carte d'Or" adverts, one of which was a man falling backwards into a pond, having been kicked by a stiletto'd foot. Were they funny, or sexist ? I remember reading an article by someone appalled by having to explain it to their children, but I think that particular article had the tone "the poor menz".

If it were not for all the man made myths that permeate society people might notice that men have achieved their position of authority in society through deception.

Seems to me part of the relentless low level propaganda aimed at convincing women that it's unacceptable for us to have independent opinions or to disagree with men
