The above slogan is seen everywhere in gift shops: on mugs, pillows, coasters, T-shirts, etc.
I'm curious. I don't feel strongly about it, but I expect many people do. Is it lighthearted fun? Or is it a feminist issue for subtly objectifying women as harridans?
Remember also the "show them the Carte d'Or" adverts, one of which was a man falling backwards into a pond, having been kicked by a stiletto'd foot. Were they funny, or sexist ? I remember reading an article by someone appalled by having to explain it to their children, but I think that particular article had the tone "the poor menz".
