I've spent a while having a nose around Pink News.
The amount of propaganda is staggering.
Trans people were in DANGER at the pride march Danger my arse, it was a very small, peaceful, group of women carrying a couple of banners. If anything, they were the ones in danger - I think they even had bottles thrown at them!
It reminds me of those old propaganda news reels that were mass fed to the public at cinemas during the war.

The worrying thing is that people are buying into this shit.

Pink news has, for quite a long time now, been all about gay men. In recent years they have expanded their remit to obsessively cover, in the most prurient language, trans issues.

It definitely has an anti-women vibe about it .

Plenty written about all these people that are supposedly being 'violent' towards transwomen.
But sod all about the thousands of women that actually do suffer violence, on a daily basis, purely for being a woman.

Two big untruths propagated by Pink News recently against Mumsnet:

  1. Mumsnet users were 'calling for the reintroduction of Section 28'. In fact PN had screenshotted a sarcastic post by a TRA.

  2. Mumsnet users reacted homophobically to Tom Daley becoming a father. In fact, the debate was about surrogacy.

Both times the PN article circulated widely over social media and people were left with the impression that feminists here are a bunch of homophobes.
